Bubur Ca Ca




Bubur Ca Ca, Ingredients : Yam, purple yam (紫山藥/紫番薯),bean (白眉豆), fresh corn, lotus seed, grilled peanut, coconut milk and banana plus raisin as natural source of sugar. So no refined sugar needed.

"Vegetarian Duck"


Made from dried soy bean "skin". This dish is supposed to be fried before eat, but I only steam without frying it.

Otak-otak



Ingredients : Prawn, eggs, thick coconut milk, chili, turmeric, shallot, garlic, khaffir leaves, Daun kaduk, and other herbs.

Fresh Cashew Nut


As we don't eat meat, so we will eat nuts such as cashew and other nuts. This is fresh cashew nut. Usually I will buy whole packet which is imported, because we can't get fresh cashew nut locally. The nut is contained in the brown color hard shell on top of the fruit.

A very typical Chinese dish in Malaysia.

Sardine sandwich



Sardine sandwich, with fresh onion, tomatoes, julienned cucumber, chili and Adventish Bakery 7-grains sprouted bread.

Oatmeal porridge


Ingredients : Oats, oat bran, wheatgerm, dried fig, topped with brewer's yeast, lecithin. Sometimes we also top it with fresh banana.

Lentil and vegetable curry


Ingredients : Lentil, vegetable, bean curd and etc

Dried white fungus, barley soup


Ingredients : white fungus, barley, red dates, dried longan, gingko. No refined sugar. But it was too thick. I cooked this with my 1.5 Litre Carrying Thermos.

Steamed Brown Rice Pumpkin Pattie


High fibre and full of nutrient.

Nonya white radish pattie (radish kuih)


Made from rice flour, white radish, shallots, garlic, salt, sugar, alkaline water, water,dried wintor melon,coriander powder, corn flour and ground peanut.

Button Mushroom, peanuts and potato stew


This stew is spiced with Chinese spice "five spice powder" (五香粉),pepper, thick and light soy sauce,star anise and garlic. I cooked this with my recently bought 1.5 Litre Thermos.

Pan Mee make from wheat flour



"Pan Mee" (handmade wheat flour noodles,with grilled anchovy, sayur manis, fresh chili.

Simple "Steamboat" for two persons


We are non meat eaters, so I made this from prawn, turmeric, ginger, pepper,spring onion and fresh corriander.

Banana and lotus seed sandwich







Steamed lotus seed, blend into paste, spread over wholemeal bread, put slice banana, baked into sandwich.

Oven Grilled fish




Oven can be useful for grilling fish. Fish seasoned with : turmeric powder, ginger powder, pepper, salt. No frying needed. Clean, easy and healthy!

Gado-gado (Indonesian Salad)



Gado-gado is our favourite dish too! It's high fibre and is good for you.

High Fibre Brown Rice porridge with sweet potato



High Fibre Brown Rice porridge, with other whole grains as shown in pix. Taking this kind of porridge is good to prevent constipation and diabetes.

Kerabu Bee Hoon (Rice Vermicelli)



Kerabu Bee Hoon made with rice vermicelli, grated (fried) coconut, fresh chili, fresh garlic, fresh lime juice, fresh slice shallots, khaffir leaves, and fresh "cukor leaves" and prawns.
